Genesis Makes the PC to Mac Switch
June 11, 2008
The time has come. The Group Group, parent of Genesis Web Service has switched the entire company from PC to Mac.
A PC shop since 1986 and Microsoft Windows development firm since 1992, Genesis has worked with every version of DOS from 2.0 and Windows from version 1.0. In Just of last year Genesis began testing the Mac platform, basically due to it ability to run both Mac OS X and Window simultaneously.
After only a few months of testing, the choice was crystal clear. The Mac is a vastly superior and much more stable platform for business use of nearly any type.
By March, Genesis has completely move all users desktops, notebooks, development and testing systems as well as the complete lot of web, email and database servers over to the Mac.
Today Genesis launched a new website, Apple In Business at www.appleinbusiness.com. The new site will discuss using Apple technology, hardware and computers, software and operating system, the process of switching from the PC and Microsoft Window to the Mac and OS X and any other topic relating to the world of Apple.
If you are interesting in our move to Mac and are thinking about the possibility, give us a call.
